Russ Finney is a well-known international high tech speaker, strategist, and management writer who spent eighteen years as the US Vice President of the IT operations of Tokyo Electron, one of the world's largest semiconductor production equipment manufacturers supplying chip makers in Asia, Europe, and the US. Today he is an Advisory Partner and Research with the itmWEB Group LLC - a firm focused on seeing emerging business and technology trends, road mapping this knowledge to reveal opportunities, and then delivering strategies and solutions to some of the largest companies in the world. In 2006, he was named Austin IT Executive of the Year by his peers at the annual InnoTech conference. Russ has served on the board of the Austin Technology Council and he was a member of the National Board of Directors of AITP. He was the 2008 and 2009 co-chair of the New York City based OutSource World conference - an annual gathering of worldwide IT leaders. Before TEL, he was an IT consultant for many years with Ernst & Young. He has a degree in Management Science and Computer Systems from Oklahoma State University.
